ThermHex Polypropylene Honeycomb Core
The new generation of lightweight material - Made in Germany Based in central Germany, ThermHex Waben GmbH offers a brand new type of Polypropylene (PP) honeycomb core, that has proven to be an excellent choice for producers of sandwich composite panels.
ThermHex honeycomb core is used for the production of lightweight construction components in a vast variety of applications and industries. From rigid truck boxes and car interior parts to lightweight furniture and fibreglass swimming pools. The continuous and efficient ThermHex production process allows for the use of honeycomb core in applications where, mostly for cost reason, the PP honeycomb cores were not considered an option before. Established in Halle (Saale, Germany) in 2009, ThermHex Waben GmbH is a licensee of EconCore NV from Leuven (Belgium), the new technology leader in economic sandwich material production technologies.
